Debra Baxter
Artist Debra Baxter earned her Master of Fine Arts at Bard College, Milton Avery School of the Arts, in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY, and her Bachelor of Fine Art degree at Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Minneapolis, MN. She has also studied at Accademia di Belle Arti and Porto Romano, both in Florence, Italy; University of Nebraska College of Art and Sciences in Lincoln, NE and the Kansas City Art Institute in Kansas City, MO.
Her sculpture, incorporating minerals and metals, has been exhibited worldwide, and reviewed in numerous prestigious art publications. She also creates installations, video and text-based art. Baxter has authored a book, Wanting is Easier Than Having, in collaboration with other authors, and sells her hand-created jewelry through DB/CB Debra Baxter : Crystal Bomb.
