Dynamic Detail In Ink And Watercolor

Steven Reddy draws detailed illustrations of urban scenes, cluttered interiors and complex still-lifes on location in ink and watercolor. A teacher with Seattle Public Schools since 1998, Reddy spent 2010 traveling throughout Southeast Asia, teaching English and recording his experiences in his sketchbook journals. His drawings from China and Mexico appear in Danny Gregory’s An Illustrated Journey. Steven currently teaches Drawing and Illustration at Gage Academy in Seattle, teaches two popular on-line classes with Craftsy.com, is an active member of Urban Sketchers, and is kept busy with private commissions. Reddy has published two large format illustrated memoirs which showcase drawings spanning 35 years from his obsessive sketchbook diaries. “Now Where Was I? An Illustrated Memoir”, and the sequel, “This Is Then, That Was Now”, a 282-page, full-color, 8.5″ x 11″ illustrated memoir.
