Kimberly Trowbridge: Self as Subject

A selection of Trowbridge self portraits spanning the last five years show how her painting technique and color theory have developed, as well as how the self as a subject in painting has continued to be a vital source of meaning in her work.

Are you a current Gage student or alumnus? Then enter your best self-portrait into Reflected: Third Annual Gage Self-Portrait Competition! Barbara Shaiman, director of the Seattle Art Museum's SAM Gallery, jurors the competition and awards cash prizes to first-, second- and third-place winners. The Reflected Exhibition runs in the Rosen Gallery from January 23 through February 20, 2009.
