Click: The Winter 2016 Open Studio Schedule

Artists in a studio at Gage. Photo by Chad Emerson.

Artists from Gage and the community work independently from the model, gaining hands-on practice in drawing, painting or sculpting the figure.

Gage students and community artists are invited to work independently from the model in daily studio sessions at the Gage campus, 1501 10th AVE E, Seattle, WA. These sessions allow artists to increase their proficiency in drawing, painting and sculpting from the figure model.

In Artist’s Choice sessions, a Gage instructor or guest artist sets the pose and works alongside studio artists for the duration. Please note that Artist’s Choice is not held in the summer semester. No instructor is present in Gage Open Studios.
