Our goal this fall is to raise $100,000 from now until December 31 to continue to offer our free and accessible programs.

For the past 18 months, Gage poured effort, ingenuity, and love into transforming the school to meet our community’s needs by pivoting to a new online format, Gage 360.

Gage offered digital training to instructors unfamiliar with teaching online, provided cutting-edge equipment to our Atelier instructors to teach remotely, and outfitted a digital media room for recording demos and lectures. We are so grateful to the supporters who helped the school fulfill its mission when everything else seemed to be in flux.

While tuition fees cover a portion of our operating expenses, we cannot provide inclusive youth programs such as Teen Art Studio, free lectures, full and partial scholarships, and the new digital architecture necessary to teach online without YOUR generosity.

Thanks to YOU, Gage remains a resilient force for arts and culture in our community and beyond.

With your donation, Gage will revive the in-person youth programs like Teen Art Studio (TAS), a free, year-round, youth arts program that increases access to arts education for 1,500 King County youth, ages 13-18, who face barriers or limited access to creative outlets and who are experiencing homelessness, or are at-risk, LGBTQIA, underserved, or speak English as a second language.

Your gift will provide the resources to sustain and grow TAS and ensure we meet the needs of our  youth. Students develop creative skills, engage in personal growth, improve their ability to forge strong peer relationships, and become more involved in local their community. The donations we receive help provide this 100% free weekly drop-in, safe space opportunity for teens!

With your generous gift, we will ensure that our community of teaching artists, models, studio monitors, students, and staff continues to thrive and support the local economy right here in Seattle. Above all, your generosity will help Gage's vision of a world where the visual arts are valued. The work of artists is regarded as a critical viewpoint that supports a genuinely diverse democracy.
