Mandy Theis (Hallenius) is a professional visual artist who exhibits regularly throughout the United States. In addition to her degree in Art Education from Montana State University, she is a graduate of the Aristides Atelier program. Create realistic paintings of flowers in oil from freshly cut floral arrangements. Students will work on setting up flowers for successful drawing and painting of the fragrant subjects onto canvas. The focus of this workshop will be on color theory and unity of light and dark in order to bring the essence of each individual flower into a final artwork.
