Hone your figure drawing and design skills with guided practice from a nude model. Students will develop a strategic approach to constructing a realistic person from life by studying proportion, gesture, comparative measurement, and value. Weekly demonstrations will focus on accurate drawing and placement of the figure in an environment. Students will work with several professional models, beginning with short poses and building up to longer drawings by the end of the class when they will have the option to blend what they see with imagination.
