Registration Deposit
To guarantee your place in a class or workshop, please fill in the registration form and submit either full payment or a deposit of one half the tuition of the program. Students registering with a deposit must fill out the credit card information and will be charged the balance the week before program start date.
Registration Fee
Students are required to pay a $15 non-refundable registration fee per quarter. Exemption: Lecture series and continuing Atelier students and Mentored Studios.
Payment Plans
A payment plan is available for any program tuition of $500 or more with an initial $250 deposit and $200 monthly payments per program until paid in full plus a $25 bookkeeping fee. Atelier and Mentored Studio students incur an annual $25 payment plan fee to administer monthly billings. All payment-plan payments must be made on a credit card.
Class Cancellations
Students who wish to cancel their place in a program must notify the Academy office by telephone or e-mail to qualify for tuition refund or tuition credit.
Tuition credits must be applied toward Academy programs within one year and are available on a stand-by basis only. All tuition credits are nontransferable.
- Class cancelled by the Academy: 100% refund of all fees
- Cancel more than three business days before class start date: Partial refund*
- Cancel three business days or fewer before class start date: Tuition credit*
- Cancel on or after the date of the first class, but before the date of the second class: Prorated tuition credit*
- Cancel on or after date of second class session: 0% refund
*$25 non-refundable deposit will be withheld from your tuition credit or refund.
Workshop Cancellations- Workshop cancelled by the Academy: 100% refund of all fees
- Cancel more than four weeks before workshop start date: Partial refund**
- Cancel four weeks or less, but more than five business days before workshop start date: Tuition credit**
- Cancel five business days or fewer before workshop start date: 0% refund
*$75 non-refundable deposit will be withheld from your tuition credit or refund. This offer is non-transferable.
Atelier Cancellations
Enrollment in Gage Atelier programs in yearly. Therefore, students withdrawing mid-year (for any reason) will be refunded as follows:
- Tuition fees for the six weeks following notification of cancellation of Atelier Program registration shall be retained by the Academy. Any remaining tuition fees that have been paid shall be refunded to the student minus a $75 cancellation fee.
- If no notification of cancellation is given by student, the date that student removes personal belongings from the atelier studio shall serve as cancellation date.
