Scholarships
Gage Academy of Art provides full and partial scholarships to eligible students based on need. Depending on the status of the Gage scholarship fund, the scholarship may be guaranteed, or on a stand-by basis. Students are requested to provide financial information and reproductions of artwork with a requisite Scholarship Application form. For more information please inquire with the Gage office.
The Stanley R. & Robert E. Wright Foundation For The Arts Scholarship
The Stanley R. & Robert E. Wright Foundation For The Arts annually supports two dedicated young artists through a $2,000 Academy scholarship for each academic year. Applicants must be 17-25 years of age. Applications are due in August for the following academic year. Please download the scholarship application form here.
The Robert DeZordo Estate Scholarship
The Robert DeZordo Estate annually supports two dedicated young artists with $2,500 scholarships for use during the academic year. Applicants must be 18-35 years of age and have attended a minimum of three Academy classes or workshops. Applications are due in August for the following academic year. Puget Sound Group of Northwest Painters Scholarships
The Puget Sound Group of Northwest Painters scholarships are $2,000 awarded to two atelier students for use during the 2009-10 academic year (ends June 30, 2010). All unused atelier tuition reverts to the PSGNWP Scholarship Fund. Merit plus need-based award. Applicants must be enrolled in a Gage Atelier Program for 2009-10 and be a minimum of 16 years old on September 14, 2009. In addition to the scholarship application form, submit the front page of filed 2008 income tax form. Please download the scholarship application form here.
Gamblin Artist's Colors Artists Oil Paint Scholarship
Gamblin Artist's Colors provides materials for oil painting for one deserving student in the Drawing & Painting Atelier. Only students enrolled in the Drawing & Painting Atelier may apply for this scholarship. Please contact the Gage office to request an application form.
