Daily Open Figure Studio at Gage
In the tradition of art schools of the past, Gage students and community artists are invited to work independently from the model in daily studio sessions at the school. These "practice sessions" allow artists to increase their proficiency in drawing, painting and sculpting from the figure model.
In Artist's Choice sessions, an Academy instructor or guest artist sets the pose and works alogside studio artists for the pose duration. Please note that Artist's Choice is not held in the summer semester.
No instructor is present in Gage Open Studios.
