Have you been searching for the perfect painting to grace your mantle? The ideal sculpture to adorn your foyer? You’re in luck— the much anticipated Gage Garden of Eden: An Art Collector’s Paradise is almost here!
Join us on Saturday, January 31, 2009, at 6:00pm for a cocktail reception with the evening’s donating artists and take time to wander through the night’s extensive exhibition. The Garden of Eden: An Art Collector’s Paradise offers the perfect backdrop to more than 80 works of art donated for your delight — you won’t be able to choose just one to take home!
The evening’s collection features dynamic works from emerging artists like Classical Atelier student Dan Monda, whose recent work “Black Coffee” won Best of Show at the Best of Gage Student Art Exhibit & Awards. The auction also offers rare opportunities to collect established artists like Tip Toland, who recently hosted a solo exhibition at the Bellevue Museum of Art.
Gage Garden of Eden: An Art Collector’s Paradise is more than an opportunity to purchase great art — it is also an important way to support emerging and established artists and to support the school that nurtures technical and creative proficiency for artists of all ages.
A mere 300 guests will have the opportunity to celebrate with art and style, so make your reservations early! Register before January 2, 2009 to attend a special preview evening of the 2009 auction collection. Final RSVPs due by January 17.
