Showing Your Artwork Outside of Seattle

Brian Cypher, Artist:

Thursday, May 22
Geo Studio/3rd Floor

Interested in showing your work in galleries outside of Seattle but not sure how? Skagit Valley artist Brian Cypher describes his path as a self-taught artist and how he has found opportunities and created relationships for showing his work in New York, California and France. Cypher discusses the aspects of artwork promotion that have worked best for him, including how to build a strong web presence.

Brian Cypher is a self taught artist, living and working in the Skagit Valley. Over the past twenty years, Cypher has been showing his artwork throughout the Northwest. In the recent years, his work has been included in exhibitions in France and New York City, including two one-person exhibitions in New York City and Seattle. His works rely on intuited abstractions that reference nature, systems and invented forms.
