Todd Horton and Gage teaching artist and sculptor
Bill Evans exhibit their expressive paintings and sculptures of birds and beasts. Horton’s moving compositions of birds and native fauna reflect an interactive connection with the natural world; while Evans’s gestural animal figures give us a heightened sense of our own animal nature, revealing commonalities with the wild creatures in our midst.

Students of the
Aristides Atelier present classical drawings and paintings founded in traditional academic techniques while highlighting the artists’ own observational skills. This annual exhibition displays the entire arc of the Atelier, demonstrating how students begin with a focus on drawing and advance to full chromatic paintings as they develop a vocabulary to create well-executed and sensitive works of art.
