SAVE THE DATE – 2017 Gage Collector’s Gala: March 3, 2017
Presented by Laird Norton Wealth Management
A letter from Executive Director Sheila Hughes:
Dear Gage Community,
I’m still somewhat speechless from the amazing turnout of friends, energy and Gage-love at last night’s gala celebration, and wanted to let each of you know how deeply meaningful your support for this organization is. Thank you for coming to the event, for bringing your friends, and for opening up your hearts and your checkbooks to make sure that Gage continues its wonderful work.
From the music and buzz during the artist cocktail hour to the lively bidding in the silent and live auctions, from the compelling story at the Fund-A-Need to the warm goodbyes between friends, this was a very special evening that resonated and inspired all of us who care about Gage.
Because of you, Gage was able to raise more than $252,000, which will go directly into its programs, teaching artists, scholarships and free events. The support makes it possible to bring the Gage experience out into our community, and serve those for whom arts are not easily accessible or affordable. It makes it possible for us to grow — geographically, programmatically, artistically and in the number of people whose lives we touch.
To our artists, who donated their finest work, their time, and their talent. To our incredible staff and volunteers, for their thoughtful input, imagination, and hard work. And to you, the great family of Gage supporters who truly made this a great night for Art and a night to remember. Thank you and congratulations!
All my best,
Academy of Art
